Flowers in Her Hair -Pastel Purple
This style of embroidery started from my days in art school. I had to take a figure drawing class as most students do in their art studies and to be honest it was one of my least favorite classes. I've never really been a great realistic drawer or at least it's one of the things I enjoy doing the least. BUT sometimes the beauty of pushing yourself out of your comfort zone means you can create something incredible that follows you out of art school. This style combines the traditional figure drawing with my love of embroidery. It also breaks the 2D into the 3D with braids coming out of the fabric. As always made with love ❤️
